FAST TRACK to airline assessment | as Type rated pilot on A320 with no hours on type!
The dream came true: As a child, I always dreamed of becoming an airline pilot. Thanks to JETLINE Training, I was finally able to fulfill my dream.
Hello, my name is Anthony L., read here my fast track to airline assessment with A320 type rating!
I completed my flight training in May 2025 and subsequently applied to several airlines, however, due to the high volume of applicants, one waits an eternity for an invitation - and there is no guarantee of receiving one at all.
I knew I needed to make a change to establish myself in the job market, so in November 2025, I decided to complete also an A320 Type Rating at JETLINE Training to move one step closer to my dream of becoming an airline pilot. I thoroughly enjoyed my time during the Type Rating, and I grew significantly - both professionally as a pilot and personally - during this period.
They always say that the best thing you can invest in is yourself. Investing in the Type Rating at JETLINE Training was definitely the right choice.
Following the theoretical phase and the simulator phase comes the Base Training. The Base Training was one of the best experiences I have had so far in my flying career. For the first time, I sat in a real A320 and had the opportunity to take off and land it myself.
I subsequently sent my documents to the authority to have my Type Rating endorsed on my license - and what comes next is simply WOW.

My license from the CAA arrived, and I began applying to airlines with my type rating endorsement. In less than a week, I had already received invitations to an assessment from three different airlines.
Just three weeks after completing my type rating, I landed my first job as a First Officer at LEAV Aviation - and I was the happiest person in the world.
I have already successfully completed my OCC course there, and during the simulator phase, I realized that I had received a highly professional education at JETLINE Training - something that has been of great help to me on my journey with the airline.
I will be starting line training soon in June in my new home base Köln (CGN) in Germany, and i will keep you posted on upcoming experience!
What I can recommend to everyone is this: believe in yourselves and fight for your goals. I highly recommend completing your Type Rating at JETLINE Training; the school has an excellent reputation within the industry, and airlines know that we receive training here at a very high standard.
